AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL FLAG DAY 3 SEPTEMBER 2005
The Australian Flag is the symbol of our whole nation. Defined not by race, ethnicity or creed but by a deep commitment to the political values of democracy, the rule of law, a fair go and respect for others. I am delighted that the Australian Government is enabling schools to fly the flag and encouraging all Australians to fly our Australian flag wherever they can. Advance Australia!
